Our research combines optics, electronics, and materials science to investigate molecular phenomena and develop innovative sensing and biomedical systems.

Postdoctoral Researchers
We currently have no funded postdoctoral positions available. However, researchers who have secured or are planning to apply for external funding are welcome to contact us to discuss potential research opportunities. Please include your CV, publication list, and a brief research proposal.
Prospective Master's and Doctoral Students
Students interested in pursuing a Master's or Doctoral degree in our laboratory should apply through the Graduate School of Engineering and Science at Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT).

Undergraduate Students
Our laboratory belongs to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program, College of Engineering, at SIT.
SIT undergraduate students can join our laboratory for graduation research, beginning in their third year. Students interested in our research are encouraged to explore our ongoing projects and participate in laboratory activities through the university's laboratory assignment process.
Research Internships
We welcome international students through SIT's official research exchange programs.

SIT Graduate Scholarships

Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarships

JSPS International Fellowships
The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) offers several fellowship programs for eligible international predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers wishing to conduct research in Japan. Program types include short-term and standard postdoctoral fellowships.
